Tamaki is the loudest and the most random one out of our lovely bunch of characters. I have never seen another character quite like him before he's very unique and he just has so many sides of his personality. The one we see most often is his prince like personality, he talks about him self a lot and pesters Haruhi on a daily basis, but that personality is what attracts the ladies. They feel like princesses when they are with him, like most princes they treat everyone kindly and are a charming gentlemen. In the first episode Haruhi tells our prince she's not trying to get girls to look at her (remember Tama-Chan thought she was a guy at first), and he replies telling her it’s the most important thing! Tamaki obviously loves female attention and likes to give females attention, then again Tamaki just loves all kinds of attention and is very kind to everyone he interacts with. Typical prince. ♥

Tamaki has a great talent to get almost anything out of life. Tamaki can put on a face and charm that no one can deny or say no to, all this guy has to do is shoot you his puppy dog eyes and your finished. Haruhi even mentions this, when the host club refused to help the news paper club Tamaki was pouting in the manga Haruhi said 'he's going to start peeking this way with his puppy dog eyes and then we'll all be left with no choice but to follow him'. And of course no one can resit Tama-Chan and they all give into his charades and go along with his plan. Tamaki can also woe others out side of his friend zone as well, strangers are just another easy target for Tamaki's undying charm. When the host club comes to visit Haruhi at her house a neighbor asks if she should call for some help, but she soon forgets all about that when Tamaki moves in and works his magic. The lady is woed out her mind and even offers to bring snacks over later for all of them. Just a few examples of Tamaki's super charm. ;)

Tamaki can also be very childish at times, often making little kid sounds and crying out like a child, but you know that all his out bursts just make him that much cuter. ~ ♥ Tamaki had a troublesome child I guess you could say, he took care of his sickly mother and didn't have many friends. So when he transferred to Ouran, he quickly made many friends and made Kyouya Ootori his best friend on the first day of meeting him. Tamaki is kinda re-living his child hood you could say, or at least that's what it seems like. Tamaki enjoys playing kick the can and other 'commoner' games. Tamaki loves to hide, and he's always taking Haruhi along with him.

Tamaki also has a very laid back and calm side of his personality. Tamaki shows this personality trait not as often as he probably should though. xD Tamaki can be calm and turns all attention to some one else, this usually happens when he's listening to another's story or something that really strikes his interest. Tamaki is very respectful and will always listen to others and their stories. When he's doing something he loves he's very focused and tries his best no matter what. When he and Haruhi were in the pond looking for Haruhi's wallet Tamaki shows how calm and thoughtful he can really be.

Something we rarely ever get to see is Tamaki's serious side. When something happens and Tamaki feels it's not right in his heart he puts on a very serious face and tells you exactly how he's feeling. Tamaki has the ability to see right through most people and see their true colors, he and Haruhi are much the same on that subject. Tamaki knows what is right and what is wrong, though he usually does what ever necessary to make another happy. Tamaki cares to so deeply for his friends and loved ones that he will do what ever he can to make them happy.

All in all, Tamaki has a vast range of moods and personality traits. He's charming, intelligent, adorable, serious, and just simply amazing. I love Tamaki with everything inside me, my whole heart goes out to this character. I still can't believe how much i've written here at Boundless, I'm finally getting this all out and putting it on display. Tamaki is a great character and he's one of the main reason why I stalk onemanga.com to see if the Ouran manga has been updated. Muhahahaa!
